Attend this session to learn about the process of mapping an engineering authoring tool schema to the SmartPlant schema. You will gain hands-on experience with the Schema Editor interface, as well as the opportunity to check out and map the SmartPlant Schema (CMF) file. The instructor will demonstrate the necessary mapping features in the Schema Editor to extend the SmartPlant Schema and the tool map files. During the session, you will also use the Schema Import Wizard and see the process of updating the SmartPlant Foundation database with Schema changes. Please note: This session is designed primarily for students who have NOT attended the SmartPlant Foundation Modeling & Mapping (TSPE 3242/TSPE3243) session. However, attendees may use this session as a refresher for the concepts behind schema mapping. |
