What happened to the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center?
Unprecedented rains have caused severe flooding in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, site of Intergraph 2010, our international users’ conference originally scheduled for June 14-17, has closed indefinitely due to the flood damage. See Damage Video | Read Press Release

Has the conference been cancelled?
No. Intergraph 2010 has been rescheduled for August 30 – September 2 at the new, spectacular ARIA Resort at CityCenter™ in Las Vegas.

Can you tell me a little more about the ARIA Resort at CityCenter in Las Vegas?
The 61-story ARIA and 67-acre CityCenter comprise an extraordinary urban resort destination featuring dining, shopping, entertainment and recreation that are astonishing even by Las Vegas standards. To learn more, visit www.intergraph2010.com/hotel.

This resort sounds really upscale. Will it cost more than the Gaylord Opryland hotel?
Not at all. While it is upscale, the Intergraph room rate will actually be less at $139 per room per night, instead of $179 at the Gaylord Opryland. Additional taxes may apply.

Is the date and venue being moved? What are the options Intergraph is considering?
Intergraph 2010 has been rescheduled for August 30 – September 2 at the new, spectacular ARIA Resort at CityCenter in Las Vegas. Intergraph chose this location after a national search for a venue that met our conference specifications and the necessary level of quality and service that our customers have come to expect.

Why choose Las Vegas when states are facing budget issues that impact government customers?
Intergraph chose Las Vegas following a nationwide search for a venue and dates that met the specifications of the Intergraph 2010 conference and the standards our customers have come to expect. Because of the current available capacity in Las Vegas, one of America's premier convention destinations, Intergraph is able to offer attendees hotel rooms rates for approximately 23 percent less than its original conference venue in Nashville, which was closed due to flooding. We look forward to providing attendees even greater value than ever for their conference investment.

Why wasn’t the conference rescheduled at the Gaylord Opryland or a different Gaylord property?
It is now known that the Gaylord Opryland Hotel will not reopen soon enough to accommodate Intergraph 2010. Other Gaylord properties did not have availability to meet our Intergraph 2010 needs.

Now that the conference has moved, do you expect the same attendance? Sponsors? Exhibitors?
Attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors know the value of the Intergraph users’ conference, and that’s why they choose to participate. Based on our highly successful Intergraph 2008 conference in Las Vegas, we expect the same or even greater attendance at Intergraph 2010. With our selection of the ARIA Resort at CityCenter, we have made every effort to ensure the conference meets the standards our customers have come to expect.

Will the theme change? Will the sessions and workshops be affected?
We will attempt to carry over the existing “A World of Opportunities” theme, sessions, and workshops where possible. Every effort will be made to ensure the conference meets the standards our customers have come to expect.

How is Intergraph going to make this right for its customers?
As a natural disaster, the flood was outside of Intergraph’s control, and we sincerely regret any problems this may have caused you. Every effort is being made to minimize any inconvenience and ensure the conference will meet the standards our customers have come to expect. To resolve any issue you may have relating to your conference arrangements, please e-mail us at intergraph2010@intergraph.com or call us at +1.256.730.1000 or 1.800.730.4647 (U.S. Toll Free) and select option #1.

How will Intergraph’s bottom line be affected by the rescheduling of the conference?
We expect it will have no material effect on the company.

If I cannot sponsor Intergraph 2010 at its new venue and dates, will my sponsorship and/or exhibition fees be refunded?

We very much appreciate your support. Every effort will be made to ensure a similar position in the rescheduled program.
